We are looking for a Development Engineer to strengthen the Development team in our global Engineering organization. In this position your focus is to analyze and evaluate new opportunities to contribute to the development of our products.
You will be placed in Vika, Falun and report to Development Manager.
Your responsibilities
• Analyze and evaluate new opportunities such as new design and improving existing products
• Conduct pre-studies and development projects
• Ensure that our products are compliant to international directives and standards as well as customer requirements and company policy
• Provide technical support and expertise cross functionally
• Monitor technology development in the field through customer visits, exhibitions and technical literature
• Ensure appropriate reporting and documentation
The successful candidate will have the following profile
Education & Job experiences:
• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of engineering experience
• Experience of CAD, preferably Inventor and Vault.
It 's a plus if you have a proven record in development of technical solutions.
Personal skills:
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues and other departments.
• Good communication skills with ability to transfer your knowledge in an instructive, easy-to-understand way.
• Self-motivated and result oriented
• Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
