hela Sverige Proffice Life Science is looking for a Development Engineer for a successful and well-known medical device company in the Gothenburg area.
As Development Engineer you are responsible to develop and document world class products within the scope of the company's product portfolio. You will also act as a Technical Project Manager where you are responsible to lead the product development team, including Product development , Product testing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics and other departments within the company. Once the product is defined you will support the Launch Project Manager with technical expertise.
The present position is a combination of the two above roles; in certain projects you will take on the role as Development Engineer and in others the Technical Project Manager role. Both Roles require a close cross-functional collaboration with eg. Marketing and Product management as well as global partners involved in product development, eg inventors, customers, subcontractors, universities and test institutes.
The right person for this position is a good communicator and fluent in Swedish as well as in English. You easily interact with people and you are a very good organiziser and problem solver with a creative mind. Further you are a highly self motivated person who maintains effective and calm under pressure or setbacks. You have more than 5 years experience in similar roles, preferably in the medical device industri, but this is not a must. You probably have a M.Sc.
degree, or equivalent, in either engineering, dentistry or medicine. Project management skills are crucial to succeed in this position.
