Mobile TV can be accomplished in many ways. One way is to broadcast TV channels over DVB-H. Different channels may be protected by various protection schemes, also called Conditional Access technologies. This works very similar to how you subscribe to digital channels for your TV at home. Mobile TV Security is in the same way important for the operators to enable billing and subscription services.
We are looking for talented, innovative and enthusiastic engineers with several years of experience to strengthen our Mobile TV security team.
Description of duties
In this role you will work in the entire lifecycle of the software for Conditional Access that will be used in our future mobile phones. The modules include many different security schemes, both proprietary and open standards and offer many challenging tasks in a highly complex environment.
We are continuously innovating and improving software in our phones which ensures that you will be working on varied and state-of-the-art tasks within software development.
Qualifications
University degree within the area of software or computer engineering
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Competence
• Well documented programming skills, preferably both C & Java
• Experience of working with version control tools, like source safe, clear case, CVS
• Experience in IDL and fundamentals of Object Orientation are a merit
• Knowledge in DVB-H is a merit
