We are now looking for a Develop Engineer Converter Control to join our Propulsion and Control Division in Västerås
The engineer will develop, adopt, test and analyze the control and protection functions used in converter control systems for electrical propulsion and auxiliary systems. The engineer will also develop and maintain the real time simulations system used by converter control. The Engineer will also be take active part in defining and developing the future innovative converter control systems.
We believe you are educated to an MSc in Electrical Engineering or have gained equivalent knowledge through 3-5 years of relevant work
• Knowledge of electronics/propulsion/traction systems
• Experience of Power system or Propulsion system
• Knowledge of Automatic Control
• Good understanding of production methods and process
• Experience of simulations tools as Matlab, PLECS
• Fluency in English, Swedish is beneficial or willingness to learn
In order to be successful in this position you need be well organized and structured with good problem solving skills. You need to be driven with good communication and collaborative abilities. Since this position also includes cooperation with other stakeholders you need to be both social and have high degree of integrity.
