hela Sverige StudentWork is now looking for a Desktop Support full time.
Our client is a leading global producer of high performance batteries for Telecom Power Systems and Engine start applications. With its Headquarter based in Sweden the Group employs about 500 persons worldwide.
The position will provide user support to the company in the office located in the north of Stockholm city centre as well as remotely towards their hubs in Panama, US, Dubai, Singapore and Shanghai.
In this role the candidate will cover analysis and problem solving. The position will report to the IT Manager.
The right candidate will be able to operate in a very independent way and solve daily challenges without close support from coworkers or managers.
A minimum of 2 years on the job experience is required. You will be offered great opportunities to evolve within the company.
The position requires the following software skills and competences:
• Active Directory (account & authorization management)
• MS Windows XP and Win7
• TCP/IP network protocols
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio & Project
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM or other management tools
• Printer setup and management
Main Duties:
• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Research questions using available information resources
• Advise user base with day to day questions
• Follow standard help desk procedures
• Log all help desk interactions
• Administer help desk software
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Qualifications:
• Requires excellent written and verbal communications in swedish and english
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software and hardware
• Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
• Associates degree in computer information systems
