We are looking for a Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to work for our client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Digitally model designed exterior and interior surfaces with the aid of the Design Dept.
• CAD systems based upon scan data, design/physical models, sketches or verbal instructions.
• Deliver Alias models within agreed time and of a quality according to clients standards, also able to time a digital surface modelling task.
• Responsible of quality of the Alias model with respect to surface integrity and technical content. Review of the model with Designer and Studio Engineer.
• Participate in the analysis of the verification milling.
• Responsible of visualization of released proposal prior to milling, to identify problems with surface quality and confirm the released proposal with designer and studio engineer.
REQUIREMENT:
SKILLS
ALIAS should be able to produce a high quality Surface Model again from a variety of input sources such as: - Concept / Designers CAD model, Sketches, verbal direction from the Designer and Point Cloud or other scan data.
EXPEREINCE
• Minimum 5 years experience together with a very good understanding of digital surface modelling in Alias.
• Good understanding and long experience in one of Product Designs surfacing systems (Alias), also a basic knowledge of clients platform CAD system.
• A long documented experience of form and function.

Gothenburg , Sweden
DURATION:
ASAP- 6 Month Contract (initially to start with)
