About us:
H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning - our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what's next in store for us.

Design Coordination & Interface Manager
This position will help drive engineering delivery for our projects, by managing interfaces between engineering contractors. This role will be critical in ensuring all stakeholders deliver the required design and execution scopes to build a successful project. It will ensure no gaps between our EPCM's, OEM's, and outsource partners. The technical and leadership skills required to ensure all scopes are delivered per plan will lend well to someone with a strong discipline engineering (mechanical, piping, E&I) and equipment background with experience working on major projects with many supplier and contractor interfaces.
Responsibilities:
• Establish the tools and process to define and manage interfaces between internal and external project stakeholders (scope of delivery matrix, take over points list, scope of delineation, etc.).
• Development and maintenance of the Interface Plan and other key project documents
• Ensure interface points are correctly defined throughout project management tools such as schedules, budgets, and that scope gaps are defined and escalated.
• Maintains overall site layout and facilitates space request process (temporary and permanent)
• Organizing interface meetings and exchange of project information in a structured and efficient manner
• Coordinating & expedite technical interfaces between various engineering offices, the project design team, construction team, and other relevant vendors
• Act as escalation point for interface issues between contractors, facilitating management of change when required.
• Monitor status of interface agreements across the project and provide regular updates to Project Director and senior project management team members on all developments that impact schedule, safety and successful completion of the project
Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree qualified
• Demonstrable understanding of multidisciplinary / Plant Layout engineering
• Previous experience of working within an EPC/EPCM environment
• Strong skillset within project coordination, organization and influencing.
