Job brief
We are looking for a candidate that takes responsibility in the development work of our different technologies thru upscaling from pilot test trials to engineering of full-scale plants. The successful candidate will be a part of our cross-functional engineering team were work tasks will include 3D design, layout work, P&ID work, piping, mechanical and equipment design, and equipment vendor contacts.
We believe the candidate is a team player with great interest in technology development, engineering, IT, and have a keen interest in learning the latest engineering software tools. We also believe that the candidate feels ownership of problem solving task, have respect for deadlines, is curious and committed in the development work of our engineering tools that also includes defining and documenting workflows in collaboration with the system functionality.
The position is located in Gothenburg, but will in the future also involve some traveling, as well as, being briefly located at the future sites as required by the projects. The future traveling is today expected to be domestic and internationally located to the northern part of Europe.
Main Responsibilities
• E3D (PDMS) - drafting, modelling, layout structure of our technologies.
• Pipe drawing and design.
• Specifications of equipment and piping
• Mechanical design - P&ID and document work in our engineering tool (COMOS based)
• Vendor document work and checking
• Participation in pilot design and operations
• Support Basic and Detail Engineering, commissioning, and plant start-up phases
• Together with our process engineers, support budget and project cost estimates of the mechanical and pining discipline to management.

Requirements
• You can work with structure, both independently and in a cross-functional team
• Good knowledge of mechanical engineering and interest of 3D design tools
• You are a team player, but you are also capable of working and come to results on your own.
• Physically capable of field work and site walk in an operating chemical plant that handles hazardous chemicals
• Can document the development process progress in an organized manner
• Can handle confidential information
Education & Experience Requirements
Higher level of education within pipe-/mechanical engineering or similar
0-10 years of relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment. The preferred industry areas are in the chemical, petrochemical, pulp & paper or mining industry.
Good knowledge of using MS Office package and 3D tools or equivalent.
It is of benefit if you have experience of:
• 3D design experience
• Piping experience
• Engineering tool system like COMOS or AVEVA Engineering
• Market vendor contacts of pumps, filters, reactors, agitators, scrubbers, and mixer-settlers.
• Site supervision, field work and installation
• Filtration of ashes, phosphorus, hydroxides & heavy metals.
• Reaction and precipitation processes of ashes, phosphorus, hydroxides & heavy metals.
