hela Sverige Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals consists of a large number of diverse activities that produce a variety of chemical raw materials, performance chemicals and consumer products. Our factories are located worldwide and produce among other cellulose derivatives, chelates, ethylene amines, micronutrients, organic peroxides and polysulfides. Chemicals that can be used for example in detergents, vinyl, auto parts, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals, food, wallpaper adhesives, plastic bags and cosmetics.
We have an opening for an individual who can fulfill the following role as Customer Service Representative (CSR) for Functional Chemicals in Stenungsund, business area ethylene amines.
As a CSR in the US Customer Service Team you will be a link between the customers and EA's supply chain processes regarding sales order fulfillment. You will work with our district in USA and correspond with our colleagues in Chicago. This position also includes handling of Inter Company Orders to our storages globally. Since this position will work with the American market, the position will have different working hours adjusted to the market, an example for this is that the position will start work later in the morning and work later at evening.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Receive and enter customer order information in our ERP system
• Arrange transport from different storage locations to requested delivery address
• Send invoices and commercial documents to customers
• Update and manage customer information in Customer Master Data
• Monitor and handle customs declarations
• Handle complaints and deviations in our complaint system
• Handle ICSTO (Intercompany orders) including transport booking between our plants
• Handle vendor invoices in SAP
• Follow up forecasted volumes with actual and proactively contact customers in case of deviations
Qualifications;
• Academic degree in Economy or Logistics or corresponding education/ experience
• Customer Service oriented and excellent customer service sense
• High social competence and ability to build long term relationship
• Fluent in English and Swedish, additional language skills are considered a merit
• Good computer skills
Merits;
• Knowledge of SAP and especially the order to cash flow and process understanding of system
• Knowledge about transportation of dangerous goods
• Knowledge about payment terms, letter of Credits and bank guarantees
• Experience from working in a global environment
To be successful in this position you have the flexibility to work with other hours than the originally Swedish work hours, this can also include holidays as you will be the back-up for the CSR in Chicago in case of planned and unplanned absence. You have to be an independent individual and have the ability to handle the work independently. You also have a strong knowledge of order handling and are confident in your own expertise and deliver results while maintaining a high quality in your work. You are a good communicator both verbally and in writing and you have the ability to operate externally as well as internally within the company to create long and successful business relations. You are independent, positive and result oriented individual.
