Clique is a marketplace for individuals to buy and sell their clothes and accessories, available both on the web and as a phone app.
Clique is giving young people the opportunity to sell their items while gaining access to a social network which increases both the possibility to sell them easily, but also, it provides them with a feasible opportunity to develop a ‘micro’ business. By having an engaged and active group of fashionistas, Clique becomes the place to turn when looking for inspiration to buy.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on CTO with passion for strategic and technical development. You will be a part of a fast-growing startup environment and take full responsibility for its technical environment, both software development and infrastructure. Apart from all the great technical features and operating Clique's own created legacy, you will also build your own tech team to manage and support them when needed or simply let them use their great creativity combined with you experience and technical skills for increased profitability.
What we are looking for
You are probably working in a similar role or have previously worked in a leading position and want to continue grow as a great leader! You love coding in Python but also prefer programming languages and frameworks like Django, Java & Javascript and maybe some C. You should also have an interest in developing and operating the infrastructure, have some experience of High Avaliability systems and have been working in an online global business environment. We love you already if you are open-minded to test and implement new and modern frameworks and other fancy tools to optimize the technical environment. Maybe you feel that the entire technical platform should be automated all the way, we say "go for it"!
Current tech stack used at Clique
Mainly Python, Django, Javascript, Elasticsearch, Network, postgresql, CDN, Ionic, but you decide your own tech stack to use for a modern and smart platform.
