At Program Management and Purchasing Development (PM&PD) we initiate and lead the strategic work and develop the operation and IT systems for purchasing with a cross functional perspective. One area within the department is Sustainability, Social Responsibility and Environment and we are now searching for an addition to our team.
As Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager you will lead both purchasing strategic work as well as operational work. With a focus on supplier relations you will be responsible for developing internal processes for social responsibility in the supply chain. A part of the role is to inform and educate both internal and external stakeholders in the subject of CSR, which include the fields working conditions, human rights, health&safety and business ethics. It is time to take social responsibility at Volvo Car Group one step further and we are looking for an engaged and competent person to do so.
Main responsibilities
* Lead purchasing strategy work for social responsibility in the supply chain
* Lead and support implementation, training and process development within the area CSR
* Lead and coordinate "Supply Chain Responsibility" training for suppliers
* Lead, manage and coordinate supplier assessments including supplier improvements, e.g. audits and supplier self-assessments
* Participate and contribute in external networks within automotive and other industry's, in order to benchmark and investigate potential synergies between companies
Required qualifications
* Master 's degree within Business/Engineering or other related fields
* 3-5 years of work experience in relevant area
* Deep knowledge and experience in Social Responsibility. Education in the subject is meritorious
* Experience in cross-functional, international work and with supplier relations
* Audit competence, preferable Lead Auditor education, or equivalent experience
* Fluent in English, written and verbally
* Leadership experience or/and project management experience is meritorious
