Axis is now looking for a Coordinator to join our Firmware Platform Team within the Research & Development organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Today we have a team of coordinators (5 persons) taking care of integration support, release work and ticket integration in our two Linux Firmware Platform programs.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
• Support and follow-up projects when they integrate new code to Linux Firmware Platform
• Configure and setup Axis products in our product lab
• Integrate tickets to the program branches
• Run automated tests to verify the quality of the integrations
• Build firmware Alfas and Betas to the Quality Assurance department
• Build official releases and write release notes when delivering a new product upgrade
• Help out with configuration management and version control
• Take active part in automating the daily work flow
• Writing requirements for tools supporting the integration and release process
You will be expected to manage a coordinators daily work with integrations and releases but most importantly you have great interest and knowledge in automating manual steps.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We think that you are a reliable person who builds trust by being helpful and service minded. You like to minimize manual steps in the workflow and you are able to think creatively regarding streamlining and automating processes and tools.
You have experience of:
• Integration and release work
• Script (Python or similar)
• Linux
• Configuration management (git)
• Network
• C
• Automated test
THE FIRMWARE PLATFORM TEAM
The Firmware Platform team within our Research and Development organization is responsible for the Firmware Platform used by all Axis network video products. Our main focus is to coordinate all platform activities and processes as well as providing efficient platform tools and infrastructure.
