hela Sverige Are you passionate about developing innovative cooling component solutions for a wide range of applications, including internal combustion engines, fuel cells, and electromobility within marine and industrial contexts? We are currently seeking a talented Cooling Component Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will take on the responsibility of leading cooling component design and development within our Product Development Projects. The components you 'll be working with include radiators, charge air coolers, fans, heat exchangers, coolant systems, thermostats, water pumps, sea water pumps, and more.
Key responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance and reliability targets for cooling components.
• Select and work with various suppliers to optimize cooling system design, considering product cost, project cost, reliability, and commonality.
• Lead and support mechanical design engineering activities within the cooling component area.
• Ensure that design solutions meet business targets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and integrate deliveries from various stakeholders, ensuring quality and readiness for release.
• Contribute to product and system roadmaps and participate in business development and innovation.
• Build relationships with universities and external institutes to stay current in your technical area.
• Develop and maintain a network across the organization, providing input to project prerequisites based on component history.
About you
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in cooling component engineering.
• Strong mechanical design and engineering skills.
• Self-sufficient and able to work independently, taking the lead on tasks.
• Proactive in seeking learning opportunities and ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a broader perspective and integrate into the wider technical and business systems.
• Shows potential for longer-term professional development.
