hela Sverige Cost Accountant for Emerson Process Management
Dfind Finance is looking for a Cost Accountant for Emerson Process Management. You will manage and lead Emerson's standard cost updates. The role will report directly to the Manager Finance and will be a part of the finance department. This is a new role that will combine tasks that today is performed in different groups into one central position. Your role will be cross functional with high visibility in the organisation and you will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Sales/Marketing.
The main tasks of this position includes, but are not limited to:
Cost Accounting
• Lead Annual Standard Cost Setting process
• Coordinate standard cost maintenance with relevant parts of the organisation and maintain the company frozen cost file
• Work with product management on major models cost structure and margin analysis
• Ability to explain and support the deferred variance inputs, calculations and repricing impacts
• Review new product cost structures and verify standard cost estimates
• Oracle super user Cost Accounting
Reporting
• Complete period end entries and reconciliations for cost accounting function
• Complete period end cost accounting reporting and support audit and other reporting requests
• Explain cost accounting results during period close and provide analysis on issues
• Complete Emerson CAR1 and CAR2 reporting per monthly and quarterly deadlines
• Inventory variances oversight and Excess & Obsolete variances
Project work
• Active participation in annual budget process
• As super user for cost accounting you participate in set-ups for RTR Oracle migration project
Other
• Production of periodic and ad hoc management information to support the needs of the business.
• Duties may also include responsibility for one or more sub-processes within the finance department and other ubiquitous economy work.

Publiceringsdatum2012-12-12KvalifikationerSuccess in this role requires a business oriented individual with an analythical mindset, preferably with experience from an industrial manufacturing environment. You have a strong ability to develop analytical approaches and workplans, analyze data, and develop conclusions and implications.
You preferably have a multi-disciplinary background. Educational background with a university degree in Accounting or Finance combined with a minimum of 2 years professional experience in roles requiring a high degree of analytical proficiency.
Besides excellent analytical skills, understanding of product structures/hierarchies, manufacturing process, strong accounting skills we look for someone with a high drive for results. Our business environment is highly international why you have good interpersonal skills and are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. The position will be located in Gothenburg. Driving license class B is required.
