Controller
Responsibilities and work tasks
The position as a Controller has two dimensions, legal responsibility per legal entity mainly and a operational responsibility on a global level (cross borders and cross legal entities). Main responsibility when you work in Sweden is responsibility for the Nordic area (from a legal perspective), global responsibility for parts of the operation, and overall responsibility for consolidation and reporting of Vattenfall Sales BTB Nordic. As Controller you will secure a correct accounted and reported result, and that is done in cooperation with Vattenfalls Shared Service Accounting. You will work with all accounting related tasks that have an impact on the monthly result. The position consist further all kinds of management reporting (monthly report, forecast and business plan, calculate KPI's and ad-hoc reporting). You will take on a key position in the team and work closely with the Business Controller of BTB Nordic as well as with the business managers. The goal is to gather all important and relevant business data to create presentations and reporting templates in order to drive the business forward to show our results to the management within the organisation and to the next management level. You should also be prepared to take part in some tasks outside the unit (for example projects, ad-hoc meetings etc.)
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an academic degree, previous experience of business steering and a good understanding of financial relationships. You should also have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently, have a strong personal drive as well as high communication skills. You are co-operative and write and speak Swedish as well as English. General knowledge about the financial reporting systems used by Vattenfall (SAP R/3, Cognos) and good MS Office (especially Powerpoint and Excel) skills are considered a merit. We prefer if you have experience within the field of follow-up and analysis and experience of Group accounting and reporting.
