You will be part of Robotics in Västerås. We develop, manufacture and market robots with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, track motions and motor packages. In Sweden, we are approximately 600 employees who are located in Västerås and Gothenburg. More than 90 percent of our production is exported and all the major automotive manufacturers are among our customers. The automotive industry and their subcontractors, as well as other industries such as the food industry, are the main users of robot-based automation. Welding, machine service, handling of material, grinding, packaging, and assembling are the most common application areas. The sales of robots and robot systems are managed by local ABB companies as well as by freestanding system integrators and OEM companies.

Tasks: In this position, you will be responsible for all financial reporting in line with Group Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, US GAAP and other legal and local rules. Within the local business unit, you will manage the financial planning, including budgets and forecasts, and take necessary actions to secure future growth and profits. In collaboration with the sales and project teams, you will also manage the financial risks in bids and projects as well as lead and develop controlling resources in adherence with corporate governance, compliance, assurance and internal control. As LBU Controller you will provide financial and controlling expertise to the LBU Manager and be part of the management team for Robotics in Sweden. You will be a strong Business Partner to the LBU manager with responsibility to implement global strategic initiatives

Requirements: You have an MBA or equivalent Economical degree and several years? experience of multinational business models, accounting and business control functions. The position also requires solid skills in risk and change management. Leadership experience and knowledge in SAP and US GAAP regulations are strongly qualifying.

As an important part of the LBU Management Team, with contacts both locally and globally it's important that you are a strategic person with a pragmatic way of addressing every challenge you encounter.
In addition you have excellent communication skills and high social and networking skills. You are proficient in English. Knowledge of Swedish is not mandatory but preferable. As our expert in all controller-related issues, you must also have a good track record of leading and implement changes in the business.
