Bergalo is expanding its consulting business into highly skilled Engineering and right now we are looking for Project / Construction Engineer to join our team.
Teamwork is really important to us. The Project/Construction Engineer will work closely with the Construction Manager and other functions as well as with external parties. It is important that you have a good track record in planning, forecasting and meeting deadlines. Further, you should have profound knowledge of HSE and Quality requirements and a high standard for your work and your organization.
You are naturally a great communicator, keeping a good overview in complex project set-ups and a positive "make-it-work" attitude. The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious and always eager to learn. You have documented and / or good references of work with personnel management and planning. You are a daily IT user with good knowledge of the Office package and have an easy time learning new systems. You have to be familiar with the international codes, standards, regulations & procedures, quality, cost and safety. We require excellent time and project management skills and the ability to analyse, manage, and mitigate risks.

Full-time presence in any location in Sweden or within EU is required. Please do not apply if you are not willing to move or commute to site where the consulting assignment is located.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitor the progress, ensuring project plan is moving forward to meet deadlines, foreseeing eventual impacts on the critical path
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
Meet contractual conditions of performance
Review the work progress on daily basis
Ensure compliance with Contract Program/Schedule
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
Interact on regular basis with the contractors to ensure that the installation is in accordance with agreed schedule
Work with the design and interface coordination manager to coordinate the multi-discipline design and installation activities
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
