As a Configuration Manager (CM) at Ascom you will contribute to improved world-wide healthcare! This is an opportunity to work in a global team with exciting products and complex systems. Ascom can offer you a job with wide responsibility and good opportunities for development.

YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE

You will keep track of the relation between Ascom products, subsystems, and systems for effectively controlling system change. You will work in Ascom DevOps team and help them maintain a structured CM-process for the development with requirements, design, tests and deploy. You will be a part of an international team, have daily internal and external contacts and work in close cooperation with other product quality and test organizations. As CM you handle contacts with customers and drive the correction of the faulty software.

The team is also responsible for the buildup of the coming DevOps organization and you will participate in DevOps ITSM strategy development and implementation. You will design, develop, implement and support high-quality software and software build systems. In this role you will develop and integrate automated builds and build artifacts into test environments, unit test harnesses, and code analysis tools.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a CM who has +5 years' experience in mentioned areas. It is a merit if you know agile work and have been working directly with customers. You are a positive, cooperative and communicative person with a solid feeling for the importance of high quality and are good at taking initiatives to stay up to date in the test area. Previous experience with software configuration management and source code administration is required, as well as experience with Git, CI (continuous integration) and knowledge in Cloud technologies. You have deep knowledge in build scripting and experience in script.
