Our Technology teams are responsible of the development and operation of our global connectivity backend platform - and your experience is needed.
We are now looking for a Configuration and Test Manager within the product domain called Service Management. It includes features to manage vehicles and the activation of the connected services that the dealer network sells to our customers.
The Position
As Configuration and Test Manager you play a key role configuring our systems according to wanted behavior and verifying the quality of our deliveries. You will work closely with the product owner, the solution engineer and the software engineers in our team. There will also be collaboration with colleagues in other product domain teams - to deliver our part of the end-to-end solution.
You will be an important player in a product-oriented team. We are domain experts, and as such we want to be seen as a partner more than just someone who delivers according to a provided specification. Therefore, a constructive and cooperative relation with stakeholders and colleagues is the basis for your work, which includes these responsibilities:
Configuring our services in test and production environments. This includes analysis of how the configurations shall be set up, quality checks and production launch activities
In close collaboration with the team also do hands on testing as supplementary to our automated tests to verify the quality of our software deliveries
Quality investigations of services already launched (incident investigations and root cause analysis). This can include exploratory tests, configuration updates, etc
Be active in our continuous improvements to ensure products and solutions are available and working properly, but also that we as a teamwork in an effective manner
Your profile
We are looking for a person with a positive attitude and excellent analytical skills. Someone who wants to understand our business, is passionate about technology, has a "can do" attitude and an always present ambition of high quality. You need to be a team player, but also to have the skills to plan and drive your work independently. You are thorough and curious about the details, but at the same time you also understand the importance of prioritization to focus on what's needed most.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you have:
A university degree in Information Science, Software Engineering, or similar
Documented experience as Configuration or Test Manager, or as Support specialist with the ambition to take a wider responsibility in the service delivery process
Experience from the automotive industry and preferably connectivity/IoT
Basic knowledge about databases (like MongoDB) is a plus
Fluent in English - both written and spoken. At least basic skills in Swedish are highly preferred
