hela Sverige The Driving and living area team in Cab Interior section is responsible for the design and development of components and systems in the driving and living area of the cab including Instrument panel, Controls, Pedals, Door panels, steering wheel and airbag, steering column/shaft.
To meet the demands of the business we are now looking to take on another Design and Development Engineer, Controls.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for concept and detailed development of Controls, Pedals, Steering wheel and airbag, steering column/shaft for both Volvo and Renault trucks. Most of the work will be done by suppliers that you lead, in some cases we will do some of the work in-house. You will be working very integrated with other functions locally and globally whereby communication and holistic viewpoint is essential.
• Manage and coordinate the development of Controls and Airbag
• Plan, structure and lead the development work from concept to industrialized part
• Develop requirement specifications, time plans and verification plans
• Create and maintain extensive contacts with your cross functional networks and suppliers
• Contribute to the global strategies within the field as a member of the Global System and Component Team, SCT Controls

Profile and Qualifications
• 5 years' experience in automotive industry
• Experienced in understanding legal demands and verification methods
• A desire to constantly develop yourself, the team and the company you are working for.
• Experience from Catia V5 and KOLA is considered a merit
• Fully proficient in English and additional language skills are appreciated
