Based out of the client's Global head office in Stockholm this role will be the link between the client and the operational teams, overseeing the community experience activities, catering and events to internal and external customers, ensuring consistent, personal and intuitive service excellence within our Community Experience and Event & Catering sections.

This role will lead from the front and be an integral part of the operational delivery and will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders. Your passion for service and delivering events to both internal and external guests is second to none.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Manage and deliver experiences and ensure meetings and events run successfully and smoothly. They will act as a conduit between stakeholders, operational teams and F&B operators.
* Promoting and ensuring service quality within the meeting, event and community activity segment. Being the voice and eyes on the floor, leading the operational teams from the front while demonstrating a passion for delivering excellent experiences
* Passion for food & beverage and building long lasting relationships and thrive in a fast-paced environment where the customer is at the heart of the operation
* Serve as primary point of contact for high profile and/or large engagements. Accountable to develop and communicate end-to-end complex event plans to ensure flawless execution of meetings and events.

* Manage the Community Experience calendar and oversee the booking calendar for medium to large sized event spaces and high profile meetings. Communicates events schedules with all required partners and service providers. Responsible for all communications, collaborating with event staff from different teams and anticipates problems that might arise
* Working with services partners to find best solutions for meetings, events and activities, using creative solutions to requests and challenges. Plan, communicate and execute activities, ensuring staff and service levels are correct level for the activity. Provide support to the teams on site and be present as a senior member of staff
* Actively seek feedback and information from guests and users at different points of contact to gain understanding of needs and to enable the Workplace team to proactively respond to business needs. Attend regular meetings to ensure smooth delivery of activities and services and proactively introduce improvement ideas and new services
* Being the senior point of contact for Workplace Experience stakeholder and event bookers. Adding flair and attention to detail to all projects they are involved in

* Leadership and responsibility of a team of 3-5 direct reports

Profile

* Passionate in offering an extraordinary and excellent customer experience, and will have an ability to inspire others their vision for quality and anticipating customer's needs
* Previous management experience in the Hospitality industry, preferably within luxury hotels, high end corporate hospitality or high-profile event management
* Positive attitude and takes pride in delivering high quality activities and events, strategic thinker and embraces heritage culinary trends
* Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English (additional languages advantageous), both spoken and written. Good computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office package are essential, especially Power Point, Excel and Smartsheet
* Be a great communicator with a positive outlook and ability to build relationships quickly and understand the needs of others. Utilize a high level of attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal skills.
* Good at prioritizing and solution-oriented, with excellent time management and engaging communication skills with a digital first mindset

Education and Experience

* 5 to 10 years of prior work experience in similar role or experience in high end corporate hospitality, luxury hotel or high profile events management
* Completion of Swedish Gymnasium or equivalent
