hela Sverige We have an immediate opening for the role as Communications Manager External Relations in Sweden & Nordics.
You will be a key member of the Integrated Communications team in Sweden & Nordics and provide external communications support to build, strengthen and protect the reputation and the business in the market. This includes the development of a proactive external communications strategy and execution for AkzoNobel and its businesses ? Decorative Paints, Performance Coatings and Specialty Chemicals ? and the provision of communications counsel to the local business units and industrial sites.
Qualifications
• University degree in communications/PR or journalism, with exceptional writing and presentation skills
• Native level in Swedish and fluent in English -
• Fully knowledgeable of the local culture and current usage of the language
• 7-10 years? experience in public affairs, media relations and social media
• A strong and established network of (traditional and non-traditional) general and specialized media and other key opinion former contacts
• Experience with complex communication issues, crisis communications and spokesmanship
• Experience working in an international matrix organization
• Understanding of market trends and the ability to translate these into communication opportunities
• Proven ability to manage and implement both national and global external communications campaigns with a proven track record of digital campaigns and execution
• Pro-active attitude and comfortable with working under pressure
• Team player with an open and energetic attitude, easy to shift between tasks and responsibilities who can work independently as well
