This role is new and an important strategic part of global governance with local operations, making reality of cross boarder thinking and organizational structure.

Erasteel has more than 900 employees and 6 industrial sites, 3 of which are in Sweden (Söderfors, Långshyttan, Vikmanshyttan). This role will be working out of Söderfors, about midway between Uppsala and Gävle.
Your mission
As a communication officer your mission is to manage internal as well as the external information. You are to inform employees about news, business challenges and result to give meaning and visibility the Erasteel business. In keeping the organization informed and ready for tomorrow you will contribute to Erasteel 's performance and transformation. In this position you will report to Erasteel 's Marketing and Communication Director, located in France.
About the Role
You will be a part of the Communication team with global set-up and report to the director of Marketing and Communications. You will have the opportunity to create the job in Sweden, you 'll work closely together with your local colleagues and the Swedish organizations. Together, you have an enormous potential of development in finding ways to quickly spread the news, creating the next level of efficiency and communications. You engage and work towards set goals and lay the foundation for future work as a part of the global communication plan.
Your responsibilities are:
* Manage internal and external communications (print, digital, video):
* Interviews, content creation, graphics, photo/video shooting, video editing as a part of in-house production or in cooperation with external providers
* Manage internal communications tools (TV system, Intranet, Flash, Newsletters a part of new editorial strategy
* Execute on specific communication projects with cross-cutting subjects, such as safety, HR related themes, sustainability and environmental issues, CSR and more
* Support and contribute to events both corporate and locally organized. Provide production of communication materials and take lead when needed
* Visit frequently on a regular basis the 2 other production sites in Sweden (in Dalarna)
* Occasionally take part in activities in France and other countries when Erasteel is present at global trade fairs with an international set up
About you
You are a social person with both a structured and creative mindset complementing your skills and interest in world of communications. You create communications that engages, you see the details with the ability to connect with the audience.
You see opportunities and you connect with people. You are a doer, and you make things happen. People trust in you and like your open-minded approach with a team player attitude. Furthermore, you have a positive and pragmatic way.
You take part in operations and project with stakeholders at all levels and have excellent both verbal and written communications skills including the ability to plan, prepare and produce.
Profile:
* 2- 3 years or more of successful experience in communication roles (preferably within the manufacturing industry)
* University degree (Bachelor or Master or alike within the field of Communications) or something comparable
* Strong communication skills in all channels and type of media
* Proactive, creative, and innovative with strong interpersonal, multitasking attitude
* Excellent use of Microsoft Office pack, Adobe Suite tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), video editing and ideally SharePoint
* Driven personality, curious, keeping up-to date with digital innovative practices
* Attention to details and actionable
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and in writing is mandatory.
