You will have the primary responsibility for supporting the Electronics COE and BA R&D teams to quote and source components for all internally and externally sourced PCBA's. A strong link and working relationship with the Electronic Component Commodity Buyer to follow defined strategies. Support development and management of a supply base that is capable of meeting the future growth demands of the company and the market. Develop and maintain good supplier relationship.
As person you must be business driven and result oriented with negotiation experience.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably within Electronics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing function, preferably within electronic components
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate successfully and develop strong business relationships and
strategic alliances
• Highly communicative, convincing and influencing
• Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships both internally and externally, at all levels
• Outgoing and committed team player with a strong drive and flexible attitude
• Energetic, enthusiastic, eager and open minded
• Comfortable in a rapidly changing and demanding organization
• Analytical skills
• Mobile and ready to travel international
• Fluent in English
• PC skills / ERP experience
