A Snapshot of Your Day
Now you have the possibility to join us as a Commodity Manager for Fasteners for the MGT gas turbine portfolio!
In your role as Commodity Manager you will be responsible to develop and execute strategies for the commodity and ensure we have a supplier base providing competitive components in accordance with commodity targets. You are working closely with the Global Commodity Manager of the commodity and the global team members across our businesses.
This role offers the opportunity to grow within procurement in a result driven international environment, with strong professional support and cross functional collaboration.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Develop comprehensive commodity strategy in close collaboration with the global commodity team. You will actively contribute to global and local targets and collaborate with the Siemens Energy worldwide procurement network.
* Continuously develop and lead/drive the supplier base to set targets and strategies. This also includes being responsible for sourcing of new components.
* Understand supplier base risk and develop risk mitigation strategies for your commodity.
* Be a part of our product development programs in collaboration with e.g. engineering and supplier quality management, where the Commodity Manager implements the commodity strategy.
* With your updated knowledge of global market conditions, you negotiate and complete contracts with suppliers.
* Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and your key business stakeholders.
What You Bring
* At least 2-5 years of working experience within procurement or other relevant functions within an international business environment.
* You have a master's degree in Engineering or in Business Administration.
* Excellent communication skills in English, whereas skills in Swedish is preferable.
* With a collaborative approach and with an ambition to deliver result you drive your commodity to result.
* Ability to think strategically and to build trust with internal and external stakeholders, within an intercultural environment.
* You are creative in problem solving and are business-results oriented.

Our team is a part Siemens Energy global central function for Procurement including Commodity Management.Here you will be a part of a committed team of ca 16 colleagues with different backgrounds and competences. You will also be working in collaboration with other functions, both in Sweden and worldwide.
