Folkia AS is currently looking for a Collection Manager to the Stockholm office.
Folkia AS (www.folkia.no) is a leading Nordic provider of everyday consumer financial services, operating under a license from the Norwegian Ministry of Finance and supervised by the Norwegian as well as local Financial Supervisory Authorities. Folkia provides small, fixed-price, short-term loans to the retail market through mobile, web and voice-enable and is currently operating in four markets. Since the company was founded in 2006 it has grown rapidly and has 35 employees.
As our current Collection Manager is leaving the company for new challenges, after working within the organization from an early stage, we are looking for his replacement. The position will report directly to the Chief Credit Officer.
Description:
• Monitor and develop collection processes across all Folkia markets
• Responsible for compliance, development and update of Collection Manual
• Further develop reporting for recoveries, outstanding balances and write-offs
• Provide support to the Folkia Group Management and CCO within his/her area of expertise
• To act as project leader within Billing/Accounts -Receivables/Collection projects across all Folkia markets, ensuring that Folkia has superior collection processes and understanding of them
• Act as Deputy CCO
• Working closely together with our CCO.
Who are we looking for:
A strong, dynamic and enthusiastic Collection Manager at mid-senior level with entrepreneurial spirit who ideally fulfills most of the following requirements:
• Certified Collection Officer, minimum two years from debt collection or finance industry
• BBA/BSc (desired)
• Strong analytical capability (required)
• Ability to work independently with low levels of supervision (required)
• Knowledge of accounting rules and financial reporting regarding collection matters (desired)
• Administrative capability and executional excellence (required)
• Work Experience from process development (desired)
• Know-how of collection procedures in the various Nordic countries merit (desired but not required)
• Good skills in Excel (required)
• Good skills in English (required)/ Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian (desired)
