Collaboration, Directory Services & CMDB Lead
MacGregor is expanding its internal competencies, and we are looking for an experienced, and self-motivated lead for the areas of Collaboration, Directory Services & CMDB, to join the IT Services and Infrastructure team. The position holder is responsible for the operational excellence, and technical management of the organization's collaboration platforms, directory services, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role ensures seamless communication, efficient user management, and accurate asset tracking to support business operations and decision-making.
Key responsibilites:
Develop and implement a long-term vision for collaboration tools, directory services, and CMDB, aligning with the overall IT and business strategy
Oversee the day-to-day operations of collaboration platforms (e.g., Google), directory services (e.g., Active Directory), and the CMDB
Establish and enforce SLA's and KPIs to measure and improve service quality
Provide technical guidance and expertise on the configuration, customization, and integration of collaboration tools, directory services, and CMDB
Skills and experience
We expect from you, having a service mindset, the attitude 'I am here to help you', and being a 'hands-on' person. An experienced team player with proven experience in the areas of Collaboration, Directory Services & CMDB. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite. As we are a dynamic organization we expect you to adapt and respond to change rapidly.
Skills and experience that would help you succeed in your duties:
Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years of experience in a technical lead role managing collaboration platforms, directory services, and/or CMDB
Strong technical knowledge of Google Workspace, Active Directory, Azure AD, and CMDB solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is highly desirable
Meritorious:
Experience from planning, designing and run end user trainings
Experience with JavaScript - and GoogleScript scripting and automation
Knowledge about Google Cloud technologies and Google AppSheet
