An exciting and important role for a cloud architect that will focus on managing and designing the Verisure cloud platform.
We will challenge you to find solutions for our cloud related trials, including migration of our old services into new cloud platforms and set up of environments within test and production. We will give you the opportunity to first and foremost focus on design, but you will also be given hands-on administrative work for the cloud services set up. You will primarily be working with the Microsoft Azure cloud that we have in place, but there's also Amazon AWS-instances, as well as a variety of other types of services and solutions.
Although your scope is steadily focused on the cloud, this is a varied role within its area. You're responsible for cloud based production and test & development environment, migration of services as well as making sure storage and backup administration is in line with Verisure policy. With your expertise, we will trust you to propose and present solutions according best practice and to provide cloud based resources for development team or business units. This is a chance so set the game plans for our future in the cloud, enabling and empowering services that protect our customers every day.
Communications with vendors and handling of licensing, making sure that we are license compliant, is also a task given to you in this role.

What you bring
We believe you have a well-developed sense for IT infrastructure gained through previous work in similar role(s). You have solid experience of running and maintaining servers, both in classical sense as well as in cloud operation. You are experienced in Microsoft Azure and used to working in Linux. We would also like you to have experience of migrating services to the cloud.
As a person you initiate and generate activity and make quick and clear decisions while being a team player who shows respect for the views and contributions of other team members. You follow instructions and procedures with ease, and can also present your ideas and arguments in a clear and confident way.
