Who we are
At Cloud Adoption we are currently 6 cloud engineers divided over two teams, Foundation and Security. Here are a few bullets that describe us:
• Evangelists for cloud and new tech, open minded and forward thinking
• Challenge blockers, very few things are considered impossible
• Not only work together, lift each other
• Prestige or stubbornness is not our thing
The idea behind our teams is to have people with diverse technical backgrounds and personalities. Our various backgrounds, should be considered one of our super-powers, and currently include:
• Solution Architects
• Infra Architects and Technicians
• Developers
Our mission
The Cloud Adoption mission is to lead and run the cloud transformation within Scania and provide a modern development platform and be an enabler for the organization to adopt the cloud.
The Cloud Security Teams mission:
Increase organizational awareness of Cloud security through training and constant communication. Creating a risk aware culture that makes continuous security compliance the responsibility of the many and not of the few.
In practice this boils down to these major duties:
• Build a Secure Cloud Foundation platform
• Prevent, Detect and Respond to Cloud Security events
• Accelerate teams to Build, Run and Secure their workloads in the Cloud
• Advocate Cyber Security in the Cloud
• Being a "Centre of Excellence" for Cloud Security
Your profile
As you probably guess by now, we're not set on a specific background or set of skills. We believe that various backgrounds and competences are required, however some things are meritorious:
• You are a team player and always have a positive and helpful attitude
• You already have some knowledge about Cloud and AWS
• You prefer automation over manual work
• You adopt agile principles and methods in your daily work
• You see opportunities where others see obstacles
