Customer Service and Solutions is a new department within Volvo CE Technology. We are developing Volvo CE's future offering areas such as autonomous machines, site management systems, operator support functions, telematics and diagnostics. We are now strengthening our team and looking for new team members, talented members that want to develop the future solutions for our yellow machines. Cloud Development Engineer Intelligent Machine Platform
In the newly established department Intelligent Machine Platform we are strengthening our abilities in Cloud application development. As Cloud Development Engineer in this department you will define Volvo CE's cloud solutions. Within the department we are responsible for an android based operator interface that is installed in our machine range - we are now starting to build cloud solutions based on data that is collected in the android device.
We are looking for talented Software Development Engineers who has experience from developing cloud based services - preferably based on Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS . As a member of our team you will define the cloud solution for our products and services that are used every day, by machine and fleet owners globally. In some projects you will be developing the solution - in others you will set requirements for our selected development partners and suppliers.
You will work in a dedicated team of engineers where you are contributing with your expertise. The team will use agile methods with an iterative approach. Your work will range over the entire product life cycle - you will work with innovation and advanced engineering, you will create new services in industrialization projects and you will improve customer experience of the application in maintenance. You will follow your solution from the first sketch all the way to maintenance phase. In many projects development will be done in close collaboration with pilot customer.
You will be a key person in creating a new business for Volvo CE. Your mindset, attitude and personality will be a success factor for this team.

Experience and Qualifications
• Master or Bachelor in computer science, media technology, electrical, electronics or equivalent
• Technical knowledge in SW design, experience from working with Android and Java. Cyber security, Site Management, Autonomy or Machine System design is beneficial
• Experience from developing cloud based solutions
• Solution oriented
• Technically curious and innovative
• Experience from agile work methods is beneficial
• Proficient spoken & written communication skills in English is a requirement
• Proficient spoken & written communication skills in Swedish is beneficial
