The position is open in Record to Report, within Finance & Accounting, Gothenburg. Record to Report is responsible for the accounting as well as internal and external reporting of a majority of the Swedish legal entities within the Volvo Group. Much work is related to group internal projects in the accounting and reporting area.

Responsibilities
Reporting and delivery of monthly and annual closings
Verification and delivery control of the complete financial statement for the legal entity in the consolidation system BCS.
Ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting for the legal entity
Ensure compliance with internal control objectives, local GAAP and Financial Policies and Procedures
Coordinate and facilitate audits for the legal entity
Ensure good cooperation with relevant people within the legal entity to ensure adequate and relevant information in the financial reporting
Act as the legal entity representative in legal entity forums/decisions regarding accounting, statutory and compliance reporting for the entity.
Drive and/or participate in improvement work related to accounting principles and implementation of the new organization within Volvo Group

You will work in close co-operation with other Chief accountants in the administrative structure designed to enable the Volvo Group to standardize and adopt Group common processes more efficient.

Qualifications
Academic degree in Economy/Finance or equivalent education
Minimum five years of advanced experience in the field of accounting and taxes preferably within the Volvo Group
Fluent in Swedish and English
Communication skills
High level of integrity
Leadership skills
