(abbreviation of Harbin Engineering Lab), a newly born Asian restaurant embracing the old fashioned cuisine art with the modern engineering lifestyle, is looking for experienced and talented head chef to create the business with its 2 founders.
• Key responsibilities---- ? Create new menu for every season. ? Master daily kitchen operations by optimizing staffing, recruiting and operating practices and procedures. ? Keep track of the quality of daily cuisine presented to customer and adjust according to feedback. ? Support, challenge and train other employees and ensure they have the knowledge necessary to maximize the quality of food and service. ----Personal competencies---- ? Service and quality minded with strong drive for innovation and improvement. ? Very good communication skills and ability to influence your colleagues & customers. ? Strong leadership ability to co-operate within team. ? High ethics and moral standard.
Knowledge and experience ? Chinese cook certification or at least 3 years' experience in a big restaurant in China, reference needed. ? An album or references about your own creative cuisine. ? Fluent speaking of Mandarin and English, Swedish and/or one more European language is a plus. ? Deep knowledge in Chinese traditional culture & European culture. ? Attainments in art and/or engineering are highly appreciated. ? Good understanding in H.E.L.'s engineering and art spirits in gastronomy.
