The Powertrain Control Systems Development department and the Electrical and Hybrid Technology department are responsible for the components, functions, features and the testing in the area of electrified trucks and buses.
Now we are looking for a SW Development Engineer who will work in the area of high voltage charging of our vehicles.
Your work assignments
The charging software team is responsible for delivering software functionality for the on-board charger (AC-charging) , the Pantograph charging system and the high voltage DC charging system in our electrified vehicles. Scanias vision is to deliver the best charging functionality in the market according to our customer demands. .
Specifically you will be the UF (User-Function) owner for our charging functions.
This means you collect and align all necessary vehicle/user requirements and align them with the relevant parts within Scania. You will be responsible for safety and hazard analysis as well as the coordination of the relevant processes regarding functional development / testing and release.
Additionally you will develop functionality in Matlab Simulink, Stateflow and C and at the same time develop and perform Module & Unit Tests for your functions. For internal and external customers you will write SW specifications & collect function requirements.
You will also have the opportunity to do SW application and parameter optimization directly in the vehicles and support vehicle start ups.
You work within an highly motivated and inspiring Team, using an agile approach with continuous deployment of software. You will have the chance to contribute to the whole idea of electrification as well as work with the technical details of our future solutions.
Your profile
We are looking for engineers with an interest in new technologies in sustainable transport. Experience within SW development, including state of the art Tools and Methods. Ideally you know about the automotive industry processes (e.g. ISO26262 etc.) and have worked within the area of charging systems already.
As a person, you are engaged, structured and like a high pace. You are flexible, enjoy working independently while at the same time having the team's results in focus.
You need to be passionate and strive towards reaching commonly set goals.
Ideally you master Swedish and English in spoken and written terms. Driving license C and/or D are credible.
