The role
As Category Buyer you will have full responsibility of your category while managing sourcing and supplier strategies connected to our offering. You will be a part of our global team working together to build a world class Supply Chain function.
You will be in the center of the powershift where you will have a huge impact not only on how we work today, but also how the department will operate in the future. It's a team of four, two category buyers and two operational buyers all reporting to our Head of Global Procurement Marie Zäll (

• Full responsibility for purchasing both globally and locally within your category
• Develop supplier strategies related to specific group of materials and services
• Negotiate, initiate and follow up on supplier agreements
• Use best practices to implement and develop ways of working both globally and locally
• Actively participating in integrating the new local markets within the business
• Drive your category forward together with other departments and local markets

On that, the team (consisting of a bunch of happy and sociable colleagues ) will be there to support one another since we strongly believe in sharing ideas and knowledge to move forward together.
With this said, we have a few things that we find important to succeed in this role:
• An academic degree within a relevant field
• Previous experience from purchasing (category/strategic/project)
• Experience of working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics BC.
• A true master at managing suppliers and negotiating prices and agreements
• Experience of working with international suppliers
• Fluent in English and Swedish
If you have experience from working within the solar industry that would be awesome, but nothing we expect. Having a genuine interest in renewable energy and a true sense of wanting to fix our planet takes you a long way. We'll help you get up to speed!
