Job Description.
As CAE engineer you work closely together with the Engineering Task Leaders and other functions in order to optimize the design and find the best solutions for our end customers. You coordinate and lead the CAE activities concerning NVH within the group. You also strive to continuously improve our methods and tools to secure we stay on top of our abilities.
Responsibilities
• Use competence around structure impact on noise and vibration and acoustic behavior in early phases of projects.
• Explain and recommend design optimizations to component engineer
• Perform calculations using good modeling practices, appropriate assumptions and justified simplifications
• Be active supports to local test engineers and in dialogue recommend tests and correlations
Your profile.
• M Sc/Ph D or similar in applied Mechanics or Physics
• A high level of spoken and written English
• Strong knowledge of acoustic materials is appreciated
• Experience from physical measurements and signal processing within the field is seen as a merit
• Several years of experience of CAE tools and methods in automotive
Tools we use and prefer you are skilled in
Matlab, Beta ANSA/Metapost, Nastran, VA-One and Actran
