We are looking for a CAE Engineer within Biomechanics with a genuine interest in product development supported by the latest digital modeling and simulation tools. To be successful in this role you need to have an innovative mindset in combination with high technical understanding of biomechanics and/or mechanical engineering including human tissue modeling. A key capability will be to work in close collaboration within an agile cross functional team where the solution is not always paved out from start.
About the role:
Technical leadership in the area of Digital Modeling from idea to solution. The primary focus is the interaction between soft products and human body by designing, verifying and performing new computational models
Accountable for the interface between Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Product development, translating Product Development needs into actionable CAE activities and vice versa
Build knowledge on modeling and simulation and provide technical expertise in the area of Human Tissue Biomechanics and help develop internal capabilities
Establish relevant input data to verify and validate predictive computational models through literature studies and collaborating with Laboratories, Research, Product Development etc
Create and drive collaboration network with relevant partners from industry and academia in the area of Human Tissue Biomechanics
In collaboration with stakeholders define the right level of inhouse vs external partnership knowhow
Secure that the current and future CAE modelling opportunities and constraints are given as early input to innovation initiatives
Lead or govern digital enabling projects/activities to improve state of readiness for future Innovation

Who You Are:
Experience from finite element analysis in relevant field, such as soft human tissue modelling and/or soft materials
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Proven record in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
University Degree in Biomechanics, Physics or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant working experience.
Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
Recognized CAE Engineering capabilities within Biomechanics with focus on making things happen - you are positive, enjoy collaborating in teams and is curious exploring unproven technical opportunities
You have a creative problem-solving approach, are analytical, data driven and proactive
You are interested in working with product development
You have experience with Finite Element Analysis tools such as Abaqus/LS-DYNA, Beta CAE: Ansa and Meta
You may have experience with COMSOL Multiphysics or Autodesk Inventor (Ideal, but not essential)
