At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world's leading manufacturers, and due to our continued growth we are now recruiting a CAD Engineer to be based at our office in Gothenburg.

As a CAD Engineer you will be responsible for generating CATIA V5 Body Engineering CAD concepts/ solutions for ongoing and new projects. Area of Responsibility As a CAD Engineer you will be responsible for creation of CAD geometry in support of projects culminating in FDJ. You will have responsibility for:
1.Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time
2.Provide CAD support, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence
3. Ensuring issues that cannot be resolved are escalated to Lead Engineer
4. Ensuring that the PMST delivers its objectives and targets (technical and business)
5. Identifying all risks to the programme
6. Liaison and coordination of offshore CAD resource

Knowledge / Experience
1. Degree in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
2. Extensive experience in using CATIA V5
3. Good all round design skills which must include a Body Engineering (Trim, Cockpit, Structures, Seats, etc) function
4. Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.
5. Team Centre Engineering (TCE)
6. Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
7. Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
8. PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc
