We are now looking for a CAD Engineer with focus on Thermal Systems.
What you will do
We are now looking for an experienced CAD Engineer with good skills in NX and Teamcenter as well as good knowledge in Thermal Systems for the Vehicle Motion and Dynamics HW engineering Chapter at NEVS.
The Vehicle Motion & Dynamics Hardware Chapter is covering the technical development of a wide range of Hardware Systems in the vehicle.
Our development area spans from traditional Chassis systems, such as Suspension, Steering, Brakes and Wheels via Propulsion, Electrical Motor & Inverter, to the complete Thermal System.
This position will focus on component and system design within the thermal area.
At NEVS we practice the Agile way of working where SAFe is our project organization structure. Because of this way of working, support for other components/systems within the team may also occur.
Work tasks
- As a CAD Engineer you will work close together with the System Engineers in the Vehicle Motion & Dynamics -team, developing detail designs for our thermal system.
- You will also interact closely with other departments within the R&D area such as Integration, Manufacturing, CFD-engineers, etc.
- You will produce 3D models and PMI drawings for different components and systems within the thermal area.
- You will be responsible for updates and maintenance of the CAD-models in our Vehicle Assembly Structure within our area.
- You will be working in Siemens NX environment, supported by Teamcenter.
- The work is performed according to NEVS process where parameterized modelling is used.
Who you are
- You have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience from Automotive industry.
- Good experience in designing parts for thermal systems in plastic, rubber and steel as well as their manufacturing methods.
- Good knowledge in Siemens NX.
- Good experience and knowledge in Teamcenter.
- You are a dedicated Team player.
- Open minded and curious with an innovative and proactive problem-solving approach.
- You are flexible and understand that changes along the way is a natural part of a development project.
- You are comfortable in presenting your results in various forums.
- Open to share your experience and findings with the team as a natural part of your daily work.
- You write and speak English fluently.
