Schneider Electric is searching for a Product Line Manager to manage our core product offer of the Cable Support portofolio including Cable Ladders, Cable Trays and Mesh Trays. You are the true owner of the product ranges. Your mission is to define the offer, follow sales, margin and quality and be reactive on Supply chain issues. You propose improvements in the range by defining projects and secure the voice of the customer. You interact and co-operate with related function within Schneider. You report directly into the OM CS Director and work in full synergy together with our other Product Line Managers. You will be part of the Cable Support Line of Business and located in Sweden / Mora.
Main Responsibilities:
Marketing
• Based on a deep market knowledge, co-define Cable Support Offer strategy in close co-operation with Cable Support OM Director. The strategy shall include product offer solutions, sales & margin objectives, market positioning, value propositions and competitive benchmarking.
• Monitor the Cable Support Sales, volume and margin in all concerned markets in close co-operation with Offer Category and Retail Marketing Channel Developers.
• You are in charge of the new products to be defined in collaboration with Front offices the Unique Value proposition and answer customer needs.
• Monitor infringements and propose actions to block
• Follow market trends (building & installation), regulations and standards which could affect the offer
• Manage the existing offer as portfolio owner during the complete product lifecycle. This includes tasks like monitor the FFR and act proactively to create improvements, Request QVE activities, Filter and Request product evolutions from countries in Global Partner Retail division, Propose obsolescence of products in the portfolio, etc.
• Act as the specialist for support questions coming from Level 3 Technical Support.
CS development projects
Define and propose profitable projects for the product range, both in terms of growth, profitability and maintenance in all projects:
(1) Secure and collect relevant input from both customer, countries, internal requirements;
(2) Secure alignment with other sites to look for synergies;
(3) Work for finding innovations and added-value solutions compared to competition
Deploy the respective road-map in a good cooperation with Business Development and Offer category
Coordinate the use of technological development as strategic tools in achieving competitive advantages, and continuously work for future profitable growth for the product family range.
Marketing/Technical competencies:
• Experience in a similar position or in Product Marketing in Front offices is appreciated.
• Experience from development project in big companies and the ?project work mode?
• Competitive advantages for people with knowledge about electrical installation, habits rules
• Knowledge of ?Cable Support Market? & products is a big plus
• Good marketing capabilities and analytical skill sets
