Group Legal & Corporate Governance consists of several units and now we are looking for a new team member who will provide support to our Intellectual Property as well as Compliance & Ethics team.

You will be based in Gothenburg but interacting and collaborating with a diverse and international team of colleagues on initiatives that influence many aspects of the business.
What you'll do
Being part of Group Legal & Corporate Governance at Volvo Cars, one of the most respected and recognizable car brands in the world, you will have the opportunity to drive change, work with continuous improvement and take on all types of challenges, big and small, in a truly dynamic environment.
In this role you will provide administrative support to IP and Compliance & Ethics at HQ in Gothenburg, as well as collaboration with members of the global Group Legal & Corporate Governance team.
You will report to our Chief IP Officer (CIPO), who leads the Global IP team and have a dotted line to our Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer (CCEO), who leads our Global Compliance & Ethics Office. The teams are co-located and work closely together. The role includes a variety of tasks and includes support to the CIPO and CCEO with calendar coordination, general administration and planning (which among others include travel management, managing team website SharePoint and Teams, HR-administration), communication and team activities.
The role also includes supporting the CIPO and the CCEO in driving strategic change projects, ensure project progression and provide follow-up reports including management reports. You will be supporting in creating PowerPoint presentations where you will have to convert thoughts, ideas and many times a large amount of information into graphical, crisp and easily understandable content presentable for the various parts of the business.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who - on a personal level - shares our values. Preferably you have a university degree (minimum of 3 years post-secondary). In your professional life, before applying for this job, you may already have several years of experience in a supporting and coordinating role, you may have worked as project coordinator or as executive assistant or business support to a senior manager, preferably in a high-performing and international environment. You have obtained excellent computer skills in MS office and similar systems. Interest in and prior experience of intellectual property is preferred.
You are service minded, focus on getting things done and you are very structured, and detail oriented as well as interested in technology. You enjoy identifying improvement areas and embrace change.
You meet deadlines and are fine to work under time pressure. As both Compliance & Ethics and IP manages strategic and sensitive matters, integrity is natural for you.
