You will be responsible for the full range of separation equipment, finding new and existing business opportunities and support the development of sales competences in the sales companies. About the job
Market Unit Refinery and Petrochemicals is ready to grow the business, and capture the full potential of our established and new business opportunities. Currently most of our business focus has been on heat transfer, with a strategic desire to take the next step and grow the separation business as well.Responsibilities as Business Manager* Develop, implement and establish the global sales separation within the Refinery and Petrochemical industry.* Align requirements for separation equipment internally with relevant parties.* Develop and own the market plan for separation in Refinery and Petrochemical businesses, in cooperation with Business Units. * Responsible for project follow-up.* Hosted by the BU Unit Petrochemical and part of the team.Who are you?We are looking for a candidate who is business oriented, has a commercial drive and an extensive and broad technical separation competence. You have a university degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Experience from the Refinery/Chemical industry is a plus. You have the ability to inspire and drive people to try new ways and develop. You lead by example. You see a customer problem as a challenge and opportunity. You are good at motivating others and good at establishing internal and external contacts. You should have a high capacity for networking and a social capability to make good connections within the Market Unit and throughout the Alfa Laval organization.You must be excellent in verbal & written communication as well as fluent in English.
