Position Description
Are you a business development-oriented person currently looking for your next career step? Are you thinking of a next position within strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)?
In Volvo Penta you will belong to the Corporate Strategy Team organized within Business Office. Our responsibilities are to facility strategy development and execution cross the company, drive business intelligence, and facilitate a funnel of mergers and acquisitions cases. We work integrated with all internal units, to understand and identify how we can strengthen our strategic ambitions through partnerships and M&A. Corporate Finance at Volvo Group is also an important function for you to work close to.
Your specific responsibility within our team is to manage Volvo Penta's funnel of M&A cases. Beside this, you will also be working on strategy development tasks and investigations. Most of what you will do is in the end directed to Volvo Pentas Executive Management team for decision or information. You are also expected to actively participate in Volvo Penta Strategy Network.
The ideal candidates for this job most probably have a skill-profile combining business acumen with strong analytic capability. You are structured, and very good in analyze and compile data and information into executive reports. You are experienced in project management and investigations.
Most of what we do can be planned. We foster a balanced lifestyle, but in this position, it is required to take-on peaks with high workload. You might have experience of this type of role or something related, e.g. management consulting. But most important are your drive and will to make impact and generate an outstanding result.
Qualifications
• University degree
• Strong analytical skill and a proactive approach
• Advanced in Microsoft applications
• Fluent in English, both orally and written.
