We are recruiting a dedicated Business Development Manager to our Scientific Services team. Our remit is to provide laboratory support and comprehensive laboratory equipment technical support. Your main responsibility will be to enable, influence and drive continuous improvement projects across the organisation. You will get the opportunity to work across multiple services lines and support the organisation at a significant number of levels.
What you'll do
Your focus will be supporting the leadership team and the different functions across Facilities Management with emphasis on improving Business Performance and processes by leading change and innovation projects. You will also work with performance tracking, LEAN and development of a Continuous Improvement culture across all levels within FM functions. You will be part of FM Leadership Team, accountable for shaping and communicating the long-term FM strategy.
We will rely on you to:
* Drive Organisational Change and Service Innovation across FM service lines
* Be accountable for FM Continuous Improvement and Lean strategy, methodology and processes including Lean Mentoring.
* Develop and track key performance indexes (KPI 's) & metrics to ensure high quality FM deliveries
* Benchmark against other FM organisations to identify areas for improvements.
* Lead and ensure delivery of improvement projects across Facilities Managements including supply partners.
* Optimise services by working across FM, other AstraZeneca functions and third-party supply partners
Essential for the role
Your interpersonal and communication skills are of great importance in this role. To be successful, your service delivery approach and a phenomenal ability to manage partners, customers and suppliers are crucial. You love interactions and are truly passionate about understanding your customers' views and needs. This requires you to have a balance between detail focus and critical thinking, combined with an analytical approach.
* Extensive experience in managing and delivering Change Management programs
* Lean Qualification or actively working towards qualification.
* Extensive experience of tracking, developing and reporting of performance indicators
* Experience from facility management industry or laboratories
* Knowledge of the operational needs of pharmaceutical business
