Business Controller
As Business Controller you will have responsibility to support and drive the financial analysis and estimations. Business controller acts as business partner, working closely with the business regions and functions within Business Area. Together with other Business Control team members you would develop solutions to maximize the added value in order to improve business performance.
The position reports to the Head of Business Control.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Analyzing financial and operational data, providing accurate comments that call attention to important trends and potential problems/risks and opportunities
• Secure financial follow up with transparent structure and high quality
• Participation in driving estimate process within BA Buses
• Active business control towards regions, industrial organizations and global functions
• Ad hoc assignments
• Ensure the fulfillment of the Volvo Group financial policies and procedures

Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of working experience within the controlling area; experience from working within the finance area in manufacturing plant within the Volvo Group is an advantage
• Very structured, analytical and committed
• A team player with customer orientation
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships
• Personnel character that has a drive to improve and take own initiative to find improvement areas within the area of responsibility
• An open and positive attitude with contribution to an inspiring and motivating climate
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power point and preferably Business Objects and SAP/R3 (finance module)
