About the position
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most renowned leading international FMCG brands that has delivered consistent growth in the Nordic markets over the last 17 years. The position is a full time, permanent position and will be a part of the finance team based at the Nordic headquarter in Solna/Stockholm. The role, Business Controller Sales, is reporting to the CFO of Lindt & Sprüngli (Nordic) AB.
Key responsibilities
1. Business Controlling
Analyze financial results (Sales & Costs) and follow up with Sales Director and Sales Managers (KAM, RSM, BUM)
- Prepare and analyze monthly Customer Contribution Statement (CCS)
- Pre- and Post-Assessment of Promotions / Campaigns
- Analyze Product Mix and give advice
- Monthly analysis of Selling & Merchandising costs incl. Gap-Analysis vs. Budget
Monitor accruals for trade-rebates and -promotions
Take a leading role in the price setting process (strategy, raw material development, net price calculations)
Support Sales Director in finding new Business (Models) - analysis, advice, process, due diligence
Optimize and further develop internal processes, routines and systems
Support Sales Teams with financial advice and analysis in all other business relevant matters
2. Budget, Forecasts & Latest Estimates
Sales planning (Net Sales (NTS), price changes, trade rebates & -promotions) for Latest Estimates and Budget
Planning of all Selling costs for Latest Estimates and Budget in collaboration with Sales Teams
Coordinate and assure Rolling Monthly NTS Forecast (ROFO)
Maintain and further develop Lindt & Sprüngli's NTS Planning Solution (SAP IBP)
3. Support and advice Nordic Sales teams on accounting or managerial questions
Support Sales Teams with coding of invoices
Prepare or give support with ad-hoc analysis and calculations
First level support for SAP FI/CO and SAP IBP
4. Miscellaneous
Take lead or collaborate in diverse finance / controlling projects
Represent finance department in cross-divisional projects
Your profile
University degree in business administration, finance, accounting etc. or equivalent
Min. 5 years in Controlling / Business Analytics
FMCG-Experience preferred, but not necessarily required
Experience in implementing or managing Business Intelligence Tool(s) advantageous
Accounting and Controlling Knowledge
Excellent MS Excel Skills
Distinct Flair for IT and Business Software
SAP (incl. IBP) and/or IBM Planning Analytics Knowledge is an advantage
Fluent in both spoken and written English (corporate language)
Personal skills
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Must be commercially focused and analytical
Flexible and adaptive to changing business demands
Can deliver results and work to tight deadlines
Communicates and influences effectively at all levels, and across all departments
Proactive attitude and ability to identify improvement opportunities and conduct them
