About the position
We are looking for a Business Controller for our client, a well-known company in the fashion industry. Here, you'll be part of a diverse team of designers, pattern makers, product developers, and planners, all working together to create the best customer offerings while influencing the company on a global scale. They aim to become industry leaders in creating irresistible products and assortment, building a fast-moving, creative organization centered around the product. You will be working from the office located in central Stockholm.
Your daily tasks
As a Business Controller, you will be instrumental in driving both short- and long-term sustainable sales growth and profitability within your area. Using comprehensive analysis and fashion forecasts, you will help shape a commercially successful assortment. Collaborating with your team, you will guide the global assortment strategy, focusing on boosting growth, profitability, and delivering customer value by tailoring the product selection to meet regional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Take on an informal leadership role, providing clear and inspiring communication to guide and mentor your team toward achieving objectives
Maximize sustainable sales and profitability by ensuring the right products are available at the optimal time, place, and price
Make data-driven decisions based on in-depth analysis of sales trends, customer behaviour, and market dynamics
Perform ongoing sales analysis to spot new opportunities and mitigate potential risks
Help define the team's vision, strategy, goals, and timelines in partnership with leadership
Monitor purchasing activities to ensure the proper mix of products and volumes
Your characteristics

Qualifications:
A degree in business, engineering or equivalent area
Relevant experience within business controlling, planning, merchandising, or similar
Previous experience in a leadership role
Good knowledge of Excel
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
Meritorious
Experience within e-commerce
Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment for 12 months. Start as soon as possible.
