In close collaboration with people inside and outside the company, we drive and lead the supply chain - from the supplier to the customer - in a lean way. The function Outbound Logistics covers the planning and operational responsibility for the transportation of finished vehicles Logistics, including transport related activities (e.g. event and special transport), and ensures the transport of finished vehicles to their required destinations. The Outbound Logistics scope starts at the factory, at the moment of Factory Complete to the designated distribution point according to the market set-up (e.g. Dealer, port, importer stock).



We are now looking for a new Business Application manager, to our Sales planning, IT and project Team, who wants to work in an international and fast developing area as a connection point between the global distribution organizations and our IT departments.



Main Responsibilities
* Global project leader for OBL business IT implementations
* Proactively drive process development together with key user network and IT solution changes through projects and Change Requests
* Participate in /or lead operational OBL project teams towards the implementation of new distribution set ups and methods.
* Develop OBL IT systems towards the global operational needs
* Key account for the connection between global OBL IT systems and other applications
* Assure functional understanding of the applications and linked business needs
* Secure system adherence overall outbound logistics
* Set up a super user organisation among the OBL IT business systems.
* Key account manager for OBL towards the IT suppliers
* Set up operational service level agreements with OBL IT suppliers together with the IT organisation
* Set up a training framework towards the regions
* Initiate, plan, prioritize and coordinate activities within the OBL
* Manage and drive actions to close gaps relating to carrier performance as agreed.
* Define and maintain Processes and standard operating procedures, in line with the overall strategy for Outbound Logistics.
* Provide direction, development and leadership to the project teams
* Find the best solutions from a global perspective in cooperation with our regional teams



Required qualifications
* University degree in a relevant area
* Leadership skills and documented project leadership experience
* Fluent in English (written/spoken).
* Experience from working with transport management systems
* High level understanding of logistics processes and requirements

* Ability to prioritize in high demanding area
* Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional and global networks.
* Good communication and cooperative skills.
* Positive, engaged and willing to learn
