Are you someone who is passionate about creating value from big data, the service that is set to be the new growth area within FinTech? Do you enjoy being at the center, controlling the life cycle of the whole functional implementation, from initial customer request to delivery, while still performing hands-on work to get the task done?

As a business analyst you will act as the interface between our worldwide clients and the IT organization by translating business processes and needs into detailed functional requirements. As an expert within the field you will give qualified advice and suggest solution alternatives to our clients. In addition, you will ensure that the team of developers and testers has a clear understanding of the clients' requirements. You will work in a team of other business analysts with expertise within the electronic trading business where you will become the responsible BA for our Data & Analytics platform at NASDAQ.

The candidate we look for is an experienced business analyst or software developer looking for a career move, with some experience from Big Data, Analytics or Business Intelligence. Preferably you have worked within the Banking / Finance sector. Experience from high paced international companies and/or the gaming sector might also be interesting, depending on the experience and roles from these positions. You must understand database fundamentals and have experience in SQL.

Design functional solutions to clients.
Elicit detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders.
Write and produce detailed functional specifications for others.
Handle user queries regarding system functionality.
Responds to unresolved production support issues and participates in analysis and resolution on behalf of the business
Assist team in thinking of process re-design and improvements which would improve efficiency.
Identify common business drivers and requirements at different customers. Communicates internally the business needs of the end users.
Identify industry change and capture feedback from clients to further provide input into Product Development initiatives internally.
Responsible for the product requirements of large deliveries to external customer, including extensive support to project management in discussions about the agreements, scope of delivery and planning of the project. Ensures that operational teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements.
Promote the organization's capabilities to clients and identify sales opportunities.
Prepare, lead and facilitate customer workshops/presentations.
Participate in the development of strategic goals for leveraging our Data and Analytic platform
Perform data model design and implementation
Data analysis of source data to be mapped to data model
Design reports and dash board visualization for data analytics

• Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-8 years of experience from a requirement analyst, data base design, programmer position or similar.
• Documented experience from client interfacing projects
• Good knowledge about Big Data business in general
• Good understanding of industry related standards and regulations
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English, additional languages is an advantage
