Snafu records is a 21st century record label with a mission to democratize the music industry by incorporating smart technologies into every aspect of the value chain.
With our international team, you will work with talented Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Developers, Marketing and Artists & Repertoire experts who are working in close collaboration with creators, business and end-users to build the next generation of tools and services to help artists reach their artistic potential and get their songs heard across the globe.
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with Artists, the Tech Team, Marketing, A&R Managers to create a smooth synergy between these different groups in order to bring up value to our business.
Responsibilities
• Develop and monitor KPI of the company
• Build models to identify milestones for next fundings
• Help the CEO and the Management with the strategic direction of Snafu
• Identify and oversee implementation of process improvements within tech, marketing and A&R
• Assist on the digital strategy side of the business, by evaluating and helping to negociate with potential partners and platforms
• Business development and special projects such as new market/product launches
• Supporting the Finance Dpt with reporting (mainly revenue model and forecast)
Qualifications
• University degree, at least bachelor's degree within fields like economics, finance, data.
• Practical experience with business analysis, especially with startup companies, within the music industry would be an advantage.
• Good English is essential, both written and verbally and with an ability to concisely summarize relevant data and convey results through messages.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage expectations.
• Experience in the handling of data and an ability to present this in an understandable way to Management or Shareholders.
• Strong skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
• The capability to independently identify aeras of improvement, combined with the skills to quickly iterate around solutions are key expectations in a small startup such as Snafu.
