hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Immunovia AB Publ i Lund The role as BioinformaticianGeneral description and main responsibility As a Bioinformatician at Immunovia you will play an important role in performing statistical data analysis including machine learning strategies and test result interpretation. You will be involved in both research and product development activities, spanning from small tests to large clinical studies. The main tasks are related to interpreting and evaluating study and test results, and to give input to experimental design. Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Develop and perform bioinformatics at Immunovia * Use tools, algorithms and programming language to understand and process biological data generated from the IMMrayTM platform * Write plans and reports of various character and level * Perform data analysis of research/development tests of various sizes as well as clinical studies * Interpret the results, draw conclusions and report the findings according to ISO 13 485 requirements * Communicate results and findings for the scientific community in oral and written form * Write scientific documentation such as research articles and publications for scientific meetings * Interact with external contacts and participate in external collaborations * Be up to date with the scientific literature within specific research areas * Continuously improve existing data handling processes * Contribute to new ideas, projects, procedures and technologies * Participate in cross-functional scientific discussions internally and externally * Participate in risk assessments * Adhere to policies and safety procedures Requested qualifications * PhD exam in molecular biology, chemistry, biotechnology or equivalent with experience of bioinformatics, or PhD exam in mathematics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, statistical genomics or proteomics with experience of handling biological data * Several years of experience with processing and interpreting omics data by using tools, algorithms and programming language * Several years of experience with statistical data analysis and machine learning strategies * Several years of experience with experimental design, data interpretation and presentation, and result reporting in scientific journals preferable within proteomics or genomics * Experience from working with R and/or Python * Experience from work in the industry is an advantage but not a requirement * Excellent in English language, both written and oral Personal characteristics * Ability to work in a team and share responsibilities and tasks * Ability to apply specialist and detailed technical expertise * Problem-solving skills with the ability to find creative solutions * Proven ability to work to tight deadlines * Determined to accomplish goals and objectives * Analytical and driving personalitySend your application to:
